1. Services Overview
Agevoro provides software tools, verification APIs, and terminal interfaces designed to assist commercial enterprises in reading machine-readable identity documents and calculating age thresholds.
2. Merchant Responsibilities
Merchants retain sole responsibility for compliance with all applicable local, state, and national laws regarding the sale or delivery of age-restricted goods (including tobacco, nicotine, alcoholic beverages, and adult admission). Agevoro serves as an operational decision-support tool, not an absolute legal indemnification against underage sales.
3. Terminal Security & Credential Protection
Merchants are responsible for maintaining the physical security of paired scanning terminals and ensuring that staff PINs and administrator accounts are distributed only to authorized personnel.
4. Prohibited Uses
Users may not reverse engineer, tamper with barcode parsing routines, attempt unauthorized cross-tenant extraction, or utilize the Agevoro platform for unlawful surveillance or non-consensual harvesting of consumer identity documents.
